Bill L. Snow Jr. October 26, 1962-August 25, 2021 Bill L. Snow Jr., of Loveland, CO., died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at McKee Medical Center, Loveland, CO. He was born Oct. 26, 1962, in Harrington, KS. Growing up, Bill lived around the world as his father served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Missouri, Georgia, Texas, Massachusetts, Arizona, Hawaii, and Okinawa, Japan. He graduated from Buena High School in Sierra Vista, AZ., and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a minor in English Language Arts from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, AR. Bill married "My Girl,” Mary, on Dec. 31, 1990, during a terrible ice storm in Springdale, AR. Fortunately, the day’s icy weather was the only frosty patch to ever fall on their loving marriage. After they wed, Bill and Mary celebrated their honeymoon by going to Disney World. Bill was a huge fan of books, movies, music—especially songs by the rockers, KISS—Dungeons & Dragons, and playing the bass guitar. His eye for composition and lighting led to his amazing photography skills, taking photos professionally or capturing wildlife while traveling through the mountains or snapping silly images of his family while gathering together. He also relied on his artistic eye to make vibrant water color paintings. When not creating, Bill loved to laugh. When he did, his laugh filled the room. Whether playing pranks on his friends or watching the antics of the Monty Python cast, Bill’s laughter was infectious. His devious, yet authentic, nature likely would find the writing of this obituary far too formal. He would simply want his loved ones to know, in his best British accent, he now is pushing up daisies after joining the choir invisible. Bill worked as a driving instructor for Mountain States Driving School. He previously worked as an English teacher and for many years as a professional photographer. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Snow, of Loveland, CO.; his father, Bill L. Snow Sr., of Sierra Vista, AZ.; his sister, Dawn Lovely, married to Scott Lovely, of Rockport, WA.; his niece, Chazlyn Lovely, of Rockport, WA., and his nephew, Tyler Lovely, of South Korea; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly and Michael Gohlke, of Friendswood, TX; and his niece, Michelle Gohlke of Woodstock, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kay (McVey) Snow. Cremation arrangements have been made at Viegut Funeral Home, Loveland, CO. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, Bill’s birthday. Bill loved "My Girl,” Mary, 7. Because 7 is the most.
