Billie Jean Williams was born August 17, 1948, in Pocatello, Idaho, and passed away January 7, 2021, in Tacoma, Washington. Billie was a loving, caring, and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all that surrounded her. She spent her younger years in northern Utah on her parent’s horse ranch. Billie met the love of her life, Mike, and they soon married on February 20, 1965. They were blessed with four wonderful children. The family relocated to Tacoma, Washington in 1986. She was proudly employed at Nalley Fine Foods for over 20 years where she was a proud member of the Teamster Union Local #117. Billie is survived by her sons Joe, Dirk (DeeDee), Dennis (Melissa), and daughter Lori (James), 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Jackie and Michelle, and numerous nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, sister Flora, and her parents Marvin and Gladys Carney. Billie was a supportive, selfless, knowledgeable, patient, witty, and dedicated teacher. She will be remembered and deeply missed by all those whose hearts she touched.
