Mr. Billy Earl Griffin, Jr. age 44 a resident of Middleburg, FL. Passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 from a drowning accident. Billy was born April 17, 1965 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Billy Earl and Rosa Mae (Cromwell) Griffin. He was a lifetime resident of Florida. He was a Semi Trailer Repairman in the Trucking Industry. Billy was an avid fisherman, hunter and motorcycle rider. He was preceded in death by his mother 2 years ago. Billy is survived by; Wife of 18 ½ years: Tammy Griffin of Middleburg, FL. 2 Sons: Cody Griffin of Ocala, FL. Jacob Griffin of Middleburg, FL. 1 Daughter: Carrie Griffin of Ocala, FL. 2 Brothers: Bruce (Edna) Griffin of Chiefland, FL. Michael (Tiffany) Martin of Bakersfield, CA. 3 Sisters: Sandy (Jerry) Henson of Cocoa, FL. Sherri Miller of Williston, FL. Joanne (Steven) Woodley of Bronson, FL. Father: Bill Griffin of Lakeland, FL. 1 Grandson: Trevor Byron of Ocala. FL. Graveside services will be held 1:45 PM Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Collins Cemetery (Teneroc State Preserve) in Lakeland. Visitation will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 (before graveside) from 12:00 til 1:00 PM at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 East Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale.
