Billy McDaniel
October 1st, 1970 - March 2nd, 2015
Billy Lee McDaniel was a great man who would give the shirt off his back to people he barely knew. Billy at the age of 44 sadly passed away on March 2nd, 2015. Billy was born in Pasadena Texas, by his mother Patricia Belle and father Richard Lee McDaniel but shortly moved to Florida at the age of eight where he grew to the man we all know and cherish to this day. He lived his life as a hard working Iron worker from the age of 18, who support his family as well as his close friends with hard work and dedication until the day he passed away. He was the best man to count on if you needed anything done and wanted the job to get done right. Billy was the most non-materialistic person you could ever meet, as you could tell if you ever saw him, wearing the same bandanna, old greasy t-shirt (from working on his Nova that he was restoring), red board shorts, and his flip-flops that he would wear no matter where he went and regardless of setting. He cherished his family; his wife Heather Hines whom he had been with since he was 17 years old who he quickly fell in love with and became soul mates with, his oldest son Zackery and his wife Jade (who Billy immediately love and called his own) his second oldest Zephen a.k.a Little Bit , and his third oldest, and his princess, Zayla a.k.a Baby Lynn. Billy treated everyone he knew as family, especially if they were close to his oldest son Zack. Zack's best friends Luis and Julian quickly were considered Billy's children as well, they would call him dad and pops and showed the upmost respect for the man the somewhat raised them. Luis and Julian, and including Zack, due to Billy's love, hard work, and constant jokes turned into three great men, that would not have been possible with out Billy. Billy also had four brothers and two sisters; Thurman, Larry, Ricky, Shane were his brothers and Diane and Amanda were his sisters. Although Billy and his brothers and sisters were not always able to spend time with each other they were the most loving family, who would argue about little things that were irrelevant but also hug and love each other at the same time. Billy's brothers and sisters helped him to grow into the man that everyone knew to be the most kind, big hearted, but don't put up wit no non-sense man that everyone loved. Billy was a King of all trades, from riding a unicycle to fixing and restoring antique cars. To start off, he was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and a Die hard Dale Earnhardt fan from which he collected everything from hats to coke bottles with Earnhardt's name on it. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and was joining the Motorcycle club Southern Sons. He loved everything Cowboys and NASCAR, he would sit down every Sunday with one of his best friends Jerry and watch the race and football games with a 12-pack of BUCSH beer by both of their sides. Billy also love Heavy Metal of all kinds which included bands such as Judas Preist, Dio, King Diamond, Metallic, but above all Megadeth, who he would go to concerts with his oldest son Zack. Billy would wake up EVERY morning at about 5:30 am, walk over to his surround sound system and put his Heavy Metal music on full blast while preparing breakfast for his family and get ready for his day. Billy was also restoring a 1967 Chevy Nova that he planned on giving to his youngest son Zephen after it was fully restored. One of Billy newly found but most loved hobbies was riding with his club for charities, but Billy's most favorite thing to do in his spare time was to just sit around the T.V and enjoy the time he had with his family. Billy was one of the greatest man anyone could ever met, anyone would call it a honor to call Billy a friend. Billy's legacy forever continue through his kids that will carry on the McDaniel last name, and hope to be as great, kind hearted, strong, and wonderful of a man, that Billy was until the day he passed. Billy will always be in his families and friends hearts and minds, and word can not describe the amount of love that Billy gave and received, and will keep receiving even after his passing. Billy you were the GREATEST man, husband, and father, you will forever be loved, cherish, and missed.. Billy's memorial service will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Loyless Funeral Home with visitation from 6 to 7 pm.
