Obituary Blair Eugene Harrison, 63, passed away on November 2nd, 2014 at his home in Colorado Springs. He is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years Kathleen (Hunter) Harrison and his children and their families: Grant Harrison, his wife Sasha and his 5 children Trevor, Maddie, Taivia, Logan and Zander, and his grandson Isaac; Marla Frey, her husband Jason and their 4 children Eston, Krystal, Chace and Hunter; Tiffany Ragan-Scott, her husband Chris and their daughter Evie; Adam Harrison, his son Cameron, his fiance Kara, their daughter McKinley and one more on the way; Brandon Harrison, his wife Melissa and their 2 children Liliana and Miles; Kyle Harrison, his wife Susan and their 3 daughters Brennyn, Avynleigh, and Harpyr. He is also survived by his parents Blair and Barbara Harrison and his brothers Kirk (and his wife Julie), Alan (and his family), Paul (and his wife Faline), and Kris(and his wife Debbie) Harrison. Born in Tooele, Utah on July 2, 1951, Gene was a smart, handsome boy full of life and charm. He was raised by good parents who taught him the value of hard work and the meaning of family. He met Kathleen Ann Hunter at Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs, and the two would later marry and start a family of their own. As a young man Gene served the country that he loved by joining the United States Marine Corps. The Corps taught him discipline, which would pay off in all his future endeavors. As a father, Gene taught his children through his example of compassion, hard work, generosity and love. His talent and his love of music were a prominent part of every family gathering, and they live on in his posterity. When his children were young, Gene worked tirelessly to provide for his family, and continued to do so after they had grown. There was always a home for his children to return to, no matter their circumstance. At the time of his passing Gene and Kathy were happier and more in love than they had ever been. He will be sorely missed by those whom he has left behind, but the pain is eased somewhat by the knowledge that families are forever and that his kids will hug their daddy again, his grandkids will get their pony rides, and his sweetheart Kathy will have her husband again, in time.
