Blaisdelle Taylor

April 17th, 1993 - June 5th, 2020

Blaisdelle Taylor, a hospice CNA who brought kindness and compassion to hundreds of Treasure Valley patients and families, died Friday, June 5th. She was 27. She was a creative and loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend who followed through on her dream of owning her own home. It was there she cared for her dog Ted, her two cats Charlotte and Nemo, and her flock of chickens. Blaisdelle loved caring for others from an early age. In grade school, she would accompany injured classmates to the nurse’s office for a scraped knee, or direct arriving parents to where their child was playing at daycare. As an adult, she was always the first one to think of a thoughtful gift or kind word to bring joy. She loved animals, drawing, celebrating holidays with family, cooking for others, taking Ted to the dog park, and adopting animals in need of a loving home. Blaisdelle is survived by her parents Heather and John, her sister Abbey, and her brother Matt. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that each person consider “paying it forward” in Blaisdelle’s honor by doing something kind for someone in need or donating to your local animal shelter.

Accent Funeral Home

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve.

🕯️ Blais was my girls' first babysitter that wasn't a grandparent. There are no words, and I can't believe she is gone.

Blais has always been a light. She was a light that I could never do any justice. She's a light that burned with life and someone who loved with her whole heart. She accepted me completely and loved my kids like her own. She was someone who was patient, someone who was kind, someone who was selfless and always putting our family first. I could never explain what an impact she made in my life. We spoke of our thoughts on the afterlife. Plans, to make things easier once we came to that point in our lives. I wasn't expecting to have to put those conversations to use. All I can do now is make sure I can give her a restful afterlife and ensure it's based on what she wanted. I could never explain how amazing she truly is. My words could never do her any justice. My words could never explain just how incredible of a human she was. My words could never capture just how much of an impact she made in my life. If you knew Blais, you knew how smart, sassy, funny, and absolutely incredible she was. Please, throughout all of this, hold on to those memories of her. She IS all of those things and will FOREVER always live within our hearts in those memories we cherish. If you knew her, I'm sorry for your loss too. Please, keep her in your hearts, prayers, and thoughts. She will forever live there for each of us ❤️ your husband
