Bobbie (Shelton) Duffy, 91, of Kingsport, TN, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. She was born on March 13, 1932 in Scott County, VA, a daughter of the late Willard G. Shelton and Dona (McMullin) Shelton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Chester Duffy, Jr. Surviving are her sisters, Cindy Weaver, Kingsport, TN and Allison Alley, Surgoinsville, TN; brother, Allyn Hood, Kingsport, TN. Entombment services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Oak Hill Mausoleum I with Rev. Dean Smith officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 12:45 pm at the mausoleum for the entombment service. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
