Bobbie Jaco McGee

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Jaco McGee passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023. Bobbie was the daughter of the late Iveral Lee and Annie Neeley Jaco. She retired from working with Dr. James Herman as an office manager and medical assistant. She was an active member of the Mt. Horeb Methodist Church in Lexington and served in many capacities including Bible School and working in the office. She is survived by her husband, James Nathaniel McGee; her daughter, Melinda McGee (Holly Rohwedder); her son, James McGee, Jr. (Maria Huddle McGee); precious grandchildren, Victoria Lauren and Grant James McGee. Bobbie is also survived by her sisters, Frances McCurdy (Don) and Nancy Burnett (Bill). She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 7 sisters. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbie was also survived by her beloved dog, Weeza. Services will be held at Thompson Funeral Home on HWY 1 in Lexington on Friday, August 18th at 11am, with a visitation one hour prior. The graveside service will follow immediately after the service at the Olympia Cemetery in Columbia. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mt. Horeb Methodist Church in Lexington, SC.
