Bobby Wayne Higginson

Bobby Wayne Higginson, 59, of Homedale, passed away on February 20, 2013 in Bossier City, Louisiana as a result of an industrial accident. Bobby was born on March 18, 1953 in San Diego, California to Robert and Barbara Higginson. He spent most of his school years in Grants Pass, Oregon. Following his graduation from High School he joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Hawaii. After being Honorably Discharged he spent his career as an Independent Truck Driver. When Bobby was not working he loved to spend his time in the outdoors. This time involved riding motorcycles, collecting arrowheads, fishing, flying ultra-light aircraft, and being around cars. Bobby loved reading his Bible and spending time with his traveling companion and loyal dog Careena. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Higginson and brother, Larry Higginson. Bobby is survived by his mother, Barbara Cranston, sister, Nola (Allen) Bowser, niece, Barbra (Randy) Pagano and nephew, Michael Pounders. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel Homedale. Service Information
