Bobby Joe Lemons

Bobby Joe Lemons Kingsport - Bobby Joe Lemons, 56 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in Kingsport and had lived here all his life. He was of the Baptist faith. Bobby was a loving brother and he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and enjoyed meeting people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rose; sister, Rita Guy and his maternal grandmother, Oma Lemons. Bobby is survived by his sisters, Tonia Bowlin and husband David, Penny wells and Roseann Wells and fiancé Tom Seiltz; brothers, Ronnie Lemons and Donnie Lemons and wife, Viva; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews and a special uncle, Fred Lemons. Friends may call anytime at the residence of Bobby's sister, Tonia Bowlin. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at Chestnut Flats Church Cemetery, Gate City, VA (off Lucy Road in Bloomingdale), with Evangelist Jerry Scalf officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:50 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, C/O Tonia Bowlin, 312 Sequoyah Dr., Kingsport, TN 37660. to help with the funeral arrangements.
