Midway- Bobby Gene Pittman, 79, husband of Ann Dycus Pittman, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021. A lifelong resident of Midway, KY he was born on July 21, 1941 to the late George Henry Pittman and Ida Keith Pittman. Bobby retired from Topy Corp. and was also a former Police Officer for the City of Midway, and a Volunteer Firefighter. He was a member of the Holly Hill Church of Christ. In addition to Ann, his wife of 53 years, Bobby is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Mike) Whittaker, Frankfort; his son Martin (Emily) Pittman, Harrodsburg; his sister-in-law's Dean (James) Gibson, TN, Mary Jenkins, WI, Genny Dycus, WI, Marolyn Dycus, FL; his brother Clarence "Snookie" Pittman, Lawrenceburg; and his grandchildren Cameron, Shelby, Grace, and Grayson. Private services will be held. Serving as casket bearers will be Todd Best, Tom Owens, Scott Trent, Marty Pittman, Mike Whittaker, Cameron Whittaker, Rick Caudle, and Tom Roach. Bobby Allison, Bill Whittaker, Bob Tankersley, and Ernie Casey will serve as honorary casket bearers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holly Hill Church of Christ.
