Bobbie Yeiter's remarkable life came to a close on September 5th at age 100.

Bobbie was born a headstrong only child in San Francisco, CA.  In her youth, she spent much time in Yosemite National Park ice skating and dancing.  During WWII she left Stanford University to support the war effort as a chemist at Bethlehem Steel and later joined the U.S. Naval Women's Reserve, the “Waves”.

Bobbie had careers as a counselor, Dean of Girls and Principal in Napa, Ca.  When Bobbie retired from education she turned her love of travel into a second career as a Travel Agent and a way of life.  She explored the world.  She toured schools in the Soviet Union, marched with the penguins in Antarctica, slept under Middle East desert stars on Christmas Eve, drove reindeer in Lapland, sat with great apes in Rwanda, feasted with Gauchos in Argentina, and much more.

Bobbie's friends and caregivers were ultimately responsible for her health, entertainment and longevity.  to then her family says, “Thank you!”
