Bonnie Dee Wunch

Bonnie Dee Wunch, age 88, went home to be with Jesus on August 30th, 2022. She was living at Nightingale Lane Memory Care in Arvada, Colorado for the past year. Bonnie was the daughter of Lula and George Babbitt. She was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she lived and married and started raising her family. She and her husband, Tony, moved to Arvada in 1976. Bonnie and Tony had been married for 64 years when he passed away in 2017. Bonnie had worked for the telephone company when first married and loved being a homemaker when her children were born. She enjoyed quilting, collecting tea cups and chicken knickknacks and decorating her home. She was active in her church and loved being with her friends and family. Bonnie will be dearly missed and always remembered. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Tony Wunch on September 15, 2017, and by her parents and 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Maxwell, her son Scott Wunch and son Steven Wunch; her grandchildren, Heather Richardson and Brandon Wilson; and her great grandson, Noah Richardson. A memorial service will be held in the prayer chapel at Faith Church in Arvada, Colorado at 1:00pm following her burial at Fort Logan in the morning. A reception will follow at 2:00pm in the Atrium of Faith Church located at 6250 Wright Street. We encourage all of Bonnie’s loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating her beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the Dementia Society of America (https://www.dementiasociety.org) or to the Lutheran Medical Center Foundation (https://www.sclhealth.org/locations/lutheran-medical-center-foundation/donate/) and please designate the donation for Hospice/Palliative Care when you donate.
