Boyd Clawson Jackson
September 18th, 1932 - March 31st, 2019
Boyd C. Jackson, 86, of Fruitland passed away March 31, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. Boyd was born September 18, 1932 in Lyman, UT to Alpheus and Cecelia Jackson. He graduated from Wayne County High School in UT. After high school he enlisted in the Navy and served during the Korean War. Upon returning from military service, he attended the Latter Day Saints Business College in Salt Lake City for 2 years. He married Dolores E. Beutler in the Idaho Falls Temple June 10, 1960. They lived their adult life in Fruitland and Payette ID. Boyd worked for Heinz/Ore-Ida Foods for 40 years as a maintenance manager. Boyd was preceded in death by brothers Vance, Jeron and Glade Jackson; sister Gretta Condie; and daughters Debrah and Brenda Jackson. Boyd is survived by his wife Dolores Jackson; sister Deanna Wilson; brothers Joe and George Condie; children Darron Jackson, Carie Jackson, Sandra Wheeler; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday April 6, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fruitland. The viewing will be at 12pm followed by services at 1 pm. A committal service with military honors will follow at Park View Cemetery in New Plymouth. Condolences may be made to Boyd's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
