Bradley Joseph Mucek
October 22nd, 1956 - April 28th, 2024
Bradley Joseph Mucek, 67, of Albuquerque, NM died at home after an extended battle with cancer on April 28, 2024.
He was born in Oak Park, IL in 1956 to Lorraine Delores (née Cascio) and Walter Albert Mucek, and grew up on Chicago’s South Side. He attended St. Bede the Venerable School and St. Laurence High School before studying accounting at DePaul and Loyola Universities in Chicago. Later, he successfully completed the Executive MBA Program at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He served as Chief Financial Officer for Medical Associates in Menomonee Falls, WI, MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL, and Lovelace Health Systems and the University of New Mexico Cancer Center in Albuquerque, NM.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mark Walter Mucek, and is survived by his daughter Sarah Ann Mucek, sister-in-law Carolyn Mucek, nephew Randall Mucek (alongside his wife Jenny and their sons Alex and Christopher) and niece Karen Fitzgerald (alongside her husband Scott Fitzgerald and their children Grace and Scottie). He is also lovingly remembered by extended family and friends, especially Jessica and Charles Offutt, and Rosemarie Stansbury.
Services will be announced in future. Donations to charities supporting cancer patients and their families (such as Casa Esperanza in Albuquerque, NM) or rescue dogs and their owners would be fitting remembrances.
