Obituary On October 20, 2020, Brandy left this world to be with God. Her death was sudden and due to unexpected complications from COVID-19. She died at home. She was 47 years old. Brandy was born in Plainview, Texas in 1973 to Ronny and Jill Rogers. She grew up as an only child in Amarillo and was a proud graduate of Tascosa High School, class of 1991, Where she met so many continue to call her friend to this day. In 1999, she met the love of her life, Russell Wilson. They married in 2001 and began a life of adventure. In 2002, they welcomed their daughter Sydney, who is finishing her senior year at Doherty High School. In 2007, they welcomed their son Jack, who is in the seventh grade at Jenkins Middle School. In 2008, she encouraged and supported Russell as he went to school in order to become a certified physician assistant. Russell graduated in 2010 and they continued their adventure in Runaway Bay, Texas where she made so many friends. In 2019, she moved with her husband to Colorado Springs. Brandy was a wonderful cook and loved to attend to the yard. She relished watching her children play sports and always their loudest fan and cheering them on. She was stubborn and loyal; loving and kind; and always look for the best in whatever life brought to her. She made the house a home. She is survived by her spouse, Russell Wilson, 45; a daughter, Sydney Wilson, 17; and a son, Jackson Wilson, 12, all of Colorado Springs. Her parents, Ronny and Jill Rogers of Runaway Bay, Texas; grandmother, Joanne Rogers of Plainview, Texas; Aunt Jeny Carter of Arlington, Texas; Uncle Ben and Aunt Judy Merrill of Sherman, Texas; cousins Chesna, Lisa, and Luke; three nieces and two nephews; father and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Annette Wilson of Stamford, Texas; brother and sister-in-laws, Warren and Peggy Wilson of Stamford, Texas and Cody and Leah Wilson of Claremore, Oklahoma; along with a multitude of friends she made along the way. A memorial service will be held on Monday October 26 at 10 am. "Even while we were together, I only remember good memories. No matter how many times I acted like I didnt care, I did. I love you.
