A memorial service for Brenda L. Brooks, 77, of Gilbert, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington. Pastor Mark Bredholt will officiate. Ms. Brooks passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018. Born in Senath, MO, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Harpole and Martha Edith Walls Harpole. Brenda is survived by her loving children; son, Steven Brooks (Linda) of Gilbert; daughters, Tana B. Hutto of Irmo, Deidre Brooks of Gilbert; 3 grandchildren, Tenae Holt, Megan Hutto, Victoria Edwards; 2 great-grandchildren, Palmer Holt, Maggie Edwards; sister, Bonnie Whitson of Flint, MI. In addition to her parents, Brenda was predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
