Nicholasville, Kentucky Nicholasville - Brenda Jean Manley Collier, 69, wife of Robert W. Collier, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Central Baptist Hospital. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, daughter of the late Eugene Manley and John W. Turner and her mother Ruth Hart Manley Turner. Surviving besides her husband , are her two daughters; Carmen Collier Mabry, Lexington; Cathy Jett (Terry), Nicholasville; her son; Robert D. Collier (Shannon), Georgetown, her sister; Beverly G. Tyson (Mark), Nicholasville; her brother; John D. Turner (Dee), Marco Island, FL., her grandchildren; Davis M. Turner (Crystal), Lindsay Blankenship (Chris), Chelsea Mabry, her great-grandchildren; Bradley Turner, Haley Turner, Aaron Turner, Landon Turner, Christian Owsley, Expectant great grandchild Chloe Blankenship, Jayden Conk and Brooklynn Conk, and her aunt; Christine Whitton (James), Mt. Sterling and several adored nieces and nephews. After 25 years of dedicated work she retired from Hyatt Regency in Lexington. Brenda enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She loved and adored spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved UK Football and Basketball. The family would also like to thank all the wonderful caregivers and special friends at Diversicare for the quality care they provided. Pallbearers are Davis Turner, Derek Turner, Brock Tyson, Richard Padgett, Mark Tyson, and Chris Blankenship. Funeral Information Visitation will be at Clark Legacy Center on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 4pm-7pm with a service on Friday, August 22, 2013 at 12pm with a graveside service following at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
