Brenda Frith French, our cherished matriarch, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of July 1st, 2024. She was born December 3rd, 1941 and leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and unwavering love that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Brenda spent her life dedicated to her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother to her children and all who entered her home, and a very proud Nana to her grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and kindness touched countless lives, creating enduring connections that transcended generations.
Brenda was known for her passion for gardening, love of painting, and won first prize at the state fair for her banana bread. Her zest for life and genuine interest in others made her gatherings unforgettable and her home a welcome haven for all.
Brenda's memory will be cherished by her children, Joey of Lexington, Edwin (Melody) of Black Mountain, North Carolina, and Robin of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Meredith and Marshall French of Lexington, and Erika Marler of Swannanoa, North Carolina; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie Davidson (Steve), Scott Hall (Eleni), Robert McCeney (Betsy), and Margie McCeney, who will find solace in the countless memories of her laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support.
She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered as a pillar of strength and compassion.
Friends and family will be received in her loving home in Lexington, SC, July 20th, 2024 from 2 pm to 4 pm, after a private burial in Augusta, Georgia.
