Brenda Gale Lyen

Frankfort - Brenda Gale Lyen, 77, passed away on August 28, 2024 in Frankfort. Brenda was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on April 18, 1947 to the late Ben S. Lyen and Anita Catherine (Kitty) Stratton Lyen. She spent her childhood years in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. She attended the Lindenwood School for Girls in Missouri, the University of Kentucky, Western Kentucky University and Coastal Carolina Community College in North Carolina where she obtained a Dental Hygiene degree, which formed her working career.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lyen Taylor.

Surviving family include her daughter, Mary Katherine (Jimmy) DeBold, of Versailles, and her grandchildren, Emily Katherine DeBold and James Curtis DeBold.

Private graveside service will be held at Lawrenceburg Cemetery in Lawrenceburg on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
