Devoted mother, grandmother (Gigi), and nurse Brenda Lee McClintock passed away on June 21st 2023. Brenda left us all too soon at just 56 years of age. She was born on September 24th 1966 in Saugus, California. Brenda spent her early childhood in California, until she moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, and graduated from Coconino High School in 1984. She had always aspired to be a nurse, and volunteered her time as a nurses aid. After graduating High School, Brenda attended a semester at Northern Arizona University (NAU), then continued her studies at Pima Community College (PCC), in Tucson, Arizona, as well as Antelope Valley Community College (AVCC) in Lancaster, California. After moving to Del Rio, Texas Brenda became a mother in 1989. Also while she received her (LVN), a Licensed Vocational Nurse, through the San Felipe Del Rio Independent Consolidated School District. Brenda went on to later become a registered nurse, and even received her Masters degree from Grand Canyon University (GCU). She was a mentor, and inspired so many people throughout her career. She was hardworking, patient, and so devoted to caring for others. Brenda was a great person who truly had a heart of gold. She was kind, generous, and fun loving. She liked to travel, attend concerts, Cardinal games, and spend time with her friends. Also, she had a very impressive collection of purses and loved anything that sparkled! What Brenda loved most especially was spending time with her family. She had a love for her son, and grandchildren that could not be measured. Her friends and family meant so much to her! Brenda will be missed tremendously. Her absence will be felt forever, but she will never be forgotten by those who loved her the most. Brenda will always be remembered as being beautiful, and fabulous. Her warm energy was a comfort, and with a light truly shining from within, she radiated love and kindness. She is proceeded in death by her mother Betty Long McClintock, and beloved dogs Astro, and Skeeter McClintock. Brenda is survived by her son Colin (Alexis), father John, brothers Bryon, and Ed, and three grandchildren Camila, Marlee, and Hunter McClintock.
