Brenda Sue Myers
July 20th, 1946 - January 6th, 2022
Brenda Sue Myers, 75 years old, of Live Oak, passed away January 6, 2022, following a short illness. Brenda was born July 20, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Hershal and Lorena Wright. Brenda moved to California with her parents when she was a yound child. She attended schools in Yuba City and graduated from Yuba City High School in 1964. Brenda married the late Carlos Eugene "Gene" Myers in 1964. They eventually settled in the Yuba-Sutter area. Brenda was a cook for the Live Oak Unified School District for 35 years. She was known to many students as "Mom". Brenda is survived by her two daughters, Donna Myers of Browns Valley and Tracy (Mike) Newman of Live Oak; two granddaughters, Marissa (Kevin) Silloway of Live Oak and Samantha (Troy) Jensen of Yuba City; three great-granddaughters, Paisleigh Maxey of Live Oak and Amelia and Madisyn Jensen of Yuba City. Brenda is also survived by two brothers, David (Karen) Wright of Greshan, Oregon and Michael Wright of Yuba City. Graveside service are scheduled for January 25, 2022 at 1pm at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
