Brent Richard Walls

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that our family announces the loss of Brent Richard Walls, age 19. Brent went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho after a long and grueling battle with cancer. Brent was born on January 30, 2002 in Hanford, California and moved to Caldwell, Idaho at the age of 4. He attended Caldwell High School where he was a member of the basketball team and the football team. He was a tried-and-true San Francisco 49ers fan and his favorite player was George Kittle #85. He loved being around family and friends, playing video games, hunting, fishing and camping. Brent was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of 17. So many times, he defied the odds of survival and surprised his medical team and his family with his will to live. He was always kind and never complained, despite the pain and isolation he endured during treatment. He was truly a brave warrior and fought with such vigor and courage. He was loved by so many and recognized for his kind heart and gentle nature. He will be sorrowfully missed by all who knew him. Brent is survived by his parents, Phillip and Kimberly Walls, his brother, Brody Walls, his grandparents, Lonnie and Judy Walls, his uncle, aunt and cousins, Clint, Sigi, Makayla, Dakota and Kodi Walls, and many other family members near and far. He is preceded in death by his brother, Darin Syra. A viewing and visitation with the family will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Brent will then be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell immediately following the visitation. There will be a service held at the cemetery and anyone who wishes to speak or share a memory may do so.
