Obituary for Brett Lee Skinner Brett Lee Skinner, 63, of Auburndale, Florida passed away December 13, 2022, at Residence Auburndale, Florida with his wife by his side. He was born on July 27, 1959, in Logansport, Indiana to Father Harry Lee Skinner and Mother Jean Ann (Smith) Skinner. Brett was a very loving, caring, spiritual, and Christian man. He was a gentle giant that had the growl of a bear, while also having the heart of the softest teddy bear. He was also very generous, kind, and would help anyone that was in need. On the business side of things, other than being a brick layer, Brett was the owner of Driveway King Decorative Concrete for 35 years in Polk County. He loved his work, as it consumed most of his and his wife's time. But when it was time for play, Brett was an avid golfer. He was a part of the PGA professionals. When it comes to music, it has to be none other than Willie Nelson, Brett was a huge fan of his. We love you, miss you, and will never forget you. You will forever be in our hearts. Brett is survived by: His loving wife Cindy Skinner, Auburndale, Fl., sister Kim Mier (Dave) West Layfayette, Ind., 2 nephews, Brad Mier (Jill), Greenwood, Ind., and Bryan Mier (Amy) Westfield, Ind., son by marriage, Richard Mays (Rachel) Dubois, Pa., and daughter by marriage, Rhonda Mays, Mclean, Va. 1st cousin, Stephanie Cater (John) Thorntown, Ind., 2 grandsons by marriage, Macklin and Bronson, Pa., 2 granddaughters by marriage Vivian, Va., and Charlotte, Pa., 2 great nephews Patrick and Harry, and 2 great nieces, Scarlet and Hallie. He was preceded in death by: Both parents The family may announce a memorial service at a later date.
