Brian Bronson

Brian Bronson, 85 years old, passed away on March 17, 2022 with his family at his bed side. He was born on January 5th,1937 to Robert and Ceal Bronson. Brian was raised in Eugene and graduated from St. Francis High School and the University of Oregon. He met his wife, Mary Ella Baker, while attending Seattle University and married her in Seattle on August 24th, 1957. Brian and Mary raised their family in Eugene. He was an owner and/or manager of various business enterprises during his working career. He enjoyed his family, traveling, flying, motorcycles, classic cars and gardening. Brian is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary, three daughters: Babs Ford (Steven) of Eugene, OR, Ann Marie Coghill (Dave) of West Linn, OR, and Katie Cosgrove (Jimmy) of Valley Stream, NY, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Peter, infant daughter Cathy, and infant great grandson, Aidan Hines. Our family would like to express our gratitude to New Horizons In Home Care for their loving and professional care of Brian, Sacred Heart Hospice and Dr. Julien Succar for their care and comfort. A memorial mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic church on Thursday April 7th, 2022 at 11 am. Lunch reception will be held in the Parish Hall following mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Hospice foundation, Parkinson’s foundation or to a favorite charity.
