Brian Martin
March 27th, 1965 - May 6th, 2023
Brian Martin, 58, of Largo, Florida passed away May 6, 2023 at Suncoast Hospice Center following a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, he graduated from Whitman-hanson Regional High School. Brian spent much of his life serving our country. He was in the National Guard from 1981-1987 and in the Army from 1987-1992. He went on to earn his nursing degree from Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis, Indiana. After becoming Registered Nurse in 2001 he served our nation’s veterans for 10 plus years working for the VA Healthcare System. Brian loved music, hockey and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Eleanor Martin. Brian is survived by his wife, Jessica, his daughter Samantha and son Drew, as well as siblings Sherry, Bruce and Joseph. Brian was a loving husband and father that will always be missed. He will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor and his desire to help others however he could. He was a selfless and humble man who touched the lives of people wherever he went. Brian’s service will be held Friday, June 2nd at The Bay Pines National Cemetery at 2:30pm with a celebration of life to follow.
