Brian Edward Nordlof

August 27th, 1951 - August 14th, 2024

Brian E. Nordlof followed his beloved service dog, Radar, in death on August 14, 2024.

Born August 27, 1951 in Chicago, his family located to southern California when he was a child.  There Brian spent his youth playing little league, surfing and skateboarding his way through his early years.  As a young man he enjoyed  the calm and beauty of nature by backpacking into the wilderness areas of the mountain ranges.

In 1990 he and his wife, Jeanne, bought a farm in Oregon where he was able to pursue a whole new set of adventures.  He filled his farm with all sorts of creatures, planted many trees, had a vegetable garden,  took up golf, astronomy and relaxed with friends over a game of horseshoes or pool.

He worked as an accountant to support his family, but his true passion was woodworking. He built large structures, but the lathe was where his artistry and creativity shined.  Many beautiful bowls and vases sit in the homes of family and friends to be admired forever.

He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Jeanne, brother: Eric, stepbrother: Kirk,  daughters: Celena and Tara, stepson: Adrian, and grandchildren: Jimmy, Cindy, Jax and Paris.

We all hope he is running in his bare feet on a beautiful beach with his dogs and finding eternal joy.

A celebration of life will be held at the family farm in the Spring.
