Brian Edward David Schroers

Brian Schroers, 28, of Loveland, CO, died unexpectedly on 12/27/20 from injuries sustained in a rollover car crash near Greeley, CO. Brian’s loss was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. Brian was born April 10, 1992 to Michael and Lisa Schroers at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO; the family moving to Tucson, AZ when he was a baby. Brian attended neighborhood elementary and middle schools, finishing with Catalina Magnet High School in Tucson. After graduating high school, Brian moved back to Loveland, CO with his parents. Brian enjoyed a variety of educational and work experiences, relishing testing the waters. He worked as a retail salesclerk at Smokey Monkey for the past two years. He loved the customer interactions and made a lot of great friends along the way. Brian spent years doing volunteer work starting as a teenager with Pantano Christian church in Tucson, local Tucson events such as referee for First Lego League Competitions and runner for SAHBA Home Shows. In Colorado, Brian enjoyed volunteering with Fort Collins Kiwanis Eyeopeners projects such as serving meals for The Mission Homeless Shelter, Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army, Ben Delatour Scout Ranch cabin rehab, Colorado Feeding Kids Meal Packing and Colorado Regional Middle School Science Bowl. Anyone who knew Brian, knows he was a most kind, loving, and caring human being. He had an immense passion for music, movies, sports, art, his family, and was always a source of positivity. He had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone and anywhere he could. Brian had a greater impact within his sphere of influence than he could have ever imagined. He would be most happy for others to spread positivity and random acts of kindness, which he was known for. Brian’s family and friends will miss him more than words can express. Brian is survived by his parents, Michael and Lisa Schroers of Loveland, sister Stephanie Schroers (Ira), aunts Theresa Wright, Alison Schroers, Mary Sullivan (Mike), uncles Mark Brandon (Linda), Rob Wright, Marc Schroers (Shawna), adored nephew Travis O’Leary, numerous beloved cousins, cherished girlfriend Sarah Vladic and her two children, Isaiah, and Isabellah. A special note of thanks to Brian’s work family at Smokey Monkey – your support and love of Brian was unparalleled. You all truly were family to him. Thank you for loving on him. Memorial service will be held at Viegut Funeral Home on January 29, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.
