Bruce E Buckley
November 14th, 1935 - April 6th, 2013
Bruce Buckley passed on April 6, 2013. Bruce was born in Tacoma, WA to Sally Lou Vaeth and Neil Evans Buckley. Bruce grew up in Seattle and graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1954. He went on to attend the University of Washington. Bruce met the love of his life, Wini Sumich, in 1958. They wed in 1962 and raised their family on Lake Tapps. Bruce worked at First National Bank of Enumclaw and was active in the Enumclaw community. He was the president of the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce in 1998 and served as treasurer of the Enumclaw Rotary Club for many years. Bruce loved his family, friends, baseball, fishing, golf and playing cards. Bruce is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wini Buckley; his children Rob Buckley, Jim Buckley (Joni), and Donna Holmes (Scott); his grandchildren Alec Buckley, Mark Buckley and Alayna Buckley. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Parkinson Research Foundation or ALSA.org. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 505 17th St. SE, Auburn, WA
