Bruce "Skip" Edward Koscher
January 10th, 1947 - November 21st, 2023
Bruce Edward “Skip” Koscher, 76, of Stokesdale, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 21st, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born, January 10, 1947, in Brooklyn New York, he was the son of the late Frank Koscher and the late Joy C. Koscher. Skip was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, honorably discharged after seven years. Known to many as “The Bonsai Guy”, Skip grew his hobby of horticulture into a passion which lasted for many years. His love and expertise of the ancient Chinese Bonsai art form was highlighted on the FOX8 award-winning series “Roy’s Folks”. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sabrina Williams (Chad) of Kernersville, Shannon Cavenaugh (Eddy) of Lewisville; grandchildren, Savanna, Dillon, Chase, and Chandler. In addition to his parents, Skip was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Lucy Moss Koscher and his son, Kevin Patrick Koscher. A visitation will be held at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service- Kernersville Chapel, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
