Bryan Craig Monteith
May 9th, 1946 - April 7th, 2024
Bryan Craig Monteith was born May 9, 1946, to Dwight and Margaret (Whitmore) Monteith.
He died peacefully on April 7, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Peggy; sister, Sharon (Robert) Hunsicker; nephews, Monty Hill, and Bryan (Keek) Hill; and great nieces and nephews, Jaden, Malachi, Lucy and Mekenzey.
Bryan was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, hiking, and spending time in his beloved Yellowstone National Park.
He is remembered by many for his years of work in education at the state and local level. Prior to his retirement in 2013, Bryan served as superintendent of schools for Park County School District 6 in Cody, WY for an over a decade and a half.
A small private family service is being planned. In lieu of cards and flowers, please consider sending a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association on Bryan’s behalf. arc.alz.org
