Bryan O'Keith Taylor, age 54, of Charleston , South Carolina passed away January 26, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born on May 18, 1964 in Charleston , South Carolina to Msgt. Claude Phillips Taylor and Doris Lee Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his father. He graduated from Cabrillo High School in Lompoc, CA and the SC Police Academy. Bryan retired as a sergeant from the South Carolina Department of Corrections and sole proprietor of Palmetto Pressure Washing. Bryan had a passion for Volkswagen cars, enjoyed fishing and being out on the water. He was a devoted and dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Bryan is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Edy Long Taylor; daughters, McKenzy Taylor Martinez (Carlos), Erica Taylor Gros (Robert), Erin Lanell Taylor (Whitney); son, Zane O'Keith Taylor and 7 grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at Martin Luther Lutheran Church on January 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of floral tributes any donations may be made to Martin Luther Lutheran Church 1605 Harbor View Rd Charleston, South Carolina 29412.
