Bryant Armistead

With deepest sorrow we announce that Bryant Matthew Armistead, age 27, cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 4, 2020 at his home in Colorado. Bryant is missed every day by his mother Rebecca Anders, his father Mark Armistead, his stepfather John Anders and his stepmother Kristin Lamendola, his brother Colin Armistead and sister Caroline Armistead, his adoring grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, his girlfriend Marissa, and the many friends he made from childhood through his young adulthood. Born in Littleton, Colorado, Bryant spent much of his life in Scottsdale, Arizona. He made meaningful stops along the way in Highlands Ranch, CO, Cary, NC, and most recently Lakewood, CO. A graceful, natural athlete, Bryant played football, lacrosse and golf, and enjoyed snowboarding in the Colorado and Arizona mountains. But it was on the basketball court where he shined the brightest, a point guard who was comfortable as a floor leader. Bryant was also a talented student and was pursuing a degree in Human Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. At the time of his death, he was a top Account Executive at Yelp. Bryant’s strength was balanced with a compassion that grew deeper as he matured as a young man. While many were attracted to his warm, silly, loving personality, he also sought out friendships with those who seemed lonely and mentored those who appeared broken. He believed in the goodness of others and made you feel special simply by being part of his world. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
