Buford E. Collette, Jr. "Tiny"- Kingsport "It's written down somewhere, it's got to be/ You're high above me flyin' wild and free" - Bob Seger Buford E. Collette, Jr., passed away on February 21st, 2018 at the Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born March 10th, 1953 in Kingsport to the late Buford Collette, Sr. and Dorthy (Barney) Robinson. He lived in the area most of his life. Buford was a loving Father, Brother, Grandfather and friend to all. Survivors include his daughter, Michelle (Jonathan) Collette-Stanton; sons, David (Donna) Collette and Jonathan "JD" Collette; sisters, Anita Smallwood and Colleen (James) Allen; brother, Frankie Collette; grandchildren, Conner Collette and Chloe Collette. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 3pm to 4pm at Shades of Grace. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM at Shades of Grace: A United Methodist Congregation, on 313 East Sullivan Street in Kingsport, TN with Pastor Will Shewey officiating. Oscar Harris will be providing music. Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport is serving the Collette Family.
