Warner Robins, GA- Buford N. Cummings, Sr. passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 2:00PM at Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville, GA. Mr. Cummings was born on May 9, 1925 to the late Mark N. and Ernestine Cummings in Dublin, GA. He was a veteran in the United States Navy. Mr. Cummings retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Logistics Technician. He was a member of the VFW Post 6605 and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn B. Cummings. Survivors include- his children, Buford N. Cummings, Jr. of Sandersville, Christian B. Cummings, Sr. of Warner Robins, Mark F. (Liddy) Cummings of Bonaire, Glen R.
