Burton Dwight Dolph, 77 of Melbourne, Fl. was called home to our Lord on Monday, August 17, 2009. Born in Mundelein, Illinois on October 8, 1931, he was a devoted husband, beloved father, cherished grandfather and loyal friend. He is survived by his adoring wife of over 52 years, Susan, brother, Myron Dolph, of Mundelein, Ill. Sister Irene Swanson, of Cape Canaveral, Fl. son John and daughter Karen both of Melbourne, Fl. and granddaughters Angela and Emily of Bridgeport, Pa. He served honorably in the United States Navy, enjoyed a long career in management was a member of the local Elks chapter and a most respected friend and peer. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 21, 2009 at 12 noon at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home 5400 Village Drive Viera, Fl. 32955. Interment will be held at a later date in Ivanhoe Cemetery, Ivanhoe, Ill. In lieu of flowers the family asks that gifts be made to the American Cancer Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
