Burton M. Drakos passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson at the age of 81 years. He was born June 10, 1929 to Peter and Ruth (Matthews) Drakos in California. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Donna Drakos; son, Peter Drakos; 4 step-children; and 9 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Amador and Calaveras Counties, P.O. Box 595, Jackson, CA 95642.
