Byron "Bud, "B"" Douglas Roach

Byron Douglas Roach, Jr. (“Bud”, “B”), 39, of Charleston, SC, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 19, 2018. Byron was born on May 4, 1979 in Charleston, SC and moved to Oklahoma soon afterwards where he spent most of his school years before moving back to the Carolinas. Byron worked as an electrician for most of the last 20 years. He loved working on his Honda cars, drawing, and especially fishing, anywhere at anytime. He loved his family, his friends and most of all, his constant companion, his dog Mojo. Byron was the epitome of a free spirit who loved life and lived it to its fullest. Byron was preceded in death by his loving step-father Nick Chugon, and grandparents Charles Guy and David and Mary Nell Roach. He is survived by his mother, Linda Guy Chugon of Summerville, his father Byron D. Roach, Sr. and step-mother Karen Tarr Roach of Hanahan, grandmother Mary K. Guy of Goose Creek, step-grandmother Jeanette Tarr of Hanahan, brother Gideon Roach (Kristie) of Humble, TX, sister Heather Roach (Axel Rivera) of Hanahan, nephew Ezekiel Rivera, his aunts and uncles Phil Guy (Brenda) of Woodway, TX, Annette Guy of Cross, Paula Hensley (Mike) of Goose Creek, Glenda Kay Pye (Jimmy) of Pinopolis, Randy Roach (Dawn) of Columbia, David Roach of Charleston, Ed Tarr (Julie) of Charleston, and numerous loving cousins. He is also survived by his many, many wonderful friends around the country. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, 281 Treeland Drive Ladson, SC 29456. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
