Obituary C. Samuel "Sam" Whitehead, 71, of Lexington, Kentucky and the husband of Judith Anne Hencye Whitehead, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012. He was born August 12, 1940 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Howard Whitehead and Ayleene Hobday Whitehead Carrel. Sam spent most of his career as owner of Central Kentucky Supply and Bluegrass Truss, was also an attorney and practiced law in Kentucky and Florida, and was a member of Word of Hope Lutheran Church. In addition to his wife Judy, Sam is survived by his children, Melani Fosson of Lexington, KY, John (Myra) Dawson Whitehead of Tennessee, Abe R. Fosson, III of Lexington, KY, Jennie (Tom) Murphy of Cincinnati, OH, Grayson (Steve) Musson of Cincinnati, OH, and Samantha Hayden Whitehead of Lexington, KY; his sister, Jane Rinaldi of California and her two children; and 6 grandchildren. Funeral Information Memorial Service will be 2 pm, Friday, August 10, 2012 at Word of Hope Lutheran Church in Lexington, Kentucky, followed by a reception at the church.
