Calvin Adams
June 8th, 1951 - August 1st, 2020
Calvin Adams,69, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2020. Calvin, one of nine children, was born on June 8, 1951 to Meek and Martha Hunter Adams. He resided at Brian Center Health and Rehab in Gastonia up until his transition. Calvin loved his career as a truck driver and working on dairy farms on John-Deere equipment. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Calvin lived most of his life in Gaston County. In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his brothers; Ervin Adams, John Goode, Harold Adams, Pinkey Adams, and Willie Adams. He is survived by his two children; Calvin Jermaine Adams (Kenyatta) and Tormeica Adams Allison (Michael), four grandchildren; Jacquez, Journie, Autumn,Houston, his sisters; Catherine Porter, Rosemary Beard (Ned), his brother James Goode(Kathy), and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial will be scheduled for a later date.
