Cameron "Cam" Bordeaux Bacon

Cameron Bordeaux Bacon (Cam) 89 yrs old of Sun City Center, FL went home to be with the Lord on August 24th, 2024 at hospice house. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Bacon, of 53 years. Cameron is survived by his son Kenneth (Pharo), and two daughters Mary Beth Green and Rebecca Smith; 

grandchildren Karie, Kayla, Katelyn, and Dalton. He also has four great-grandchildren. 

Cameron was born September 20th, 1934 in Erie, Pennsylvania. He served his country in the United States Air Force and also served his Lord as a missionary and Pastor for many years. He retired from the Florida Department of Corrections where he developed a heart for prison ministries. During his retirement years he went back and earned his Doctorate degree in Theology. With his extensive library, he enjoyed studying God's word and leading bible studies. 

Cameron will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery on what would have been his 90th birthday, September 20th, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
