Carl Alexander Carrigan, born August 15, 1960, passed away at his home on March 26, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. His fiancee Sherri Nichols was at his side. During his illness, Carl maintained the most positive outlook and was quick with a smile and funny comment. He displayed the finest qualities of the enduring human spirit. Carl grew up in Decatur, Georgia and Puyallup, Washington and graduated from Puyallup High School. He attended Bates Technical School in Tacoma, where he studied electronics. He worked as an electronics technician and project manager at various companies in the Tacoma area as well as in Utah. Carl loved fishing, golfing, shooting and motorcycle riding and always beamed when showing off his big Harley V-twin. An expert mechanic, he could fix about anything around the house or in the garage. He loved having a few beers with friends at the local pub and if it was while rooting for the Seahawks....even better. Carl was preceded in death by his dad, Edward J. Carrigan and is survived by his Mom, Doris L. Carrigan, fiancee, Sherri Nichols; children, Ashley Carrigan, Austin Carrigan, Jake Nichols; sisters, Lynn Carrigan, Cathy Carrigan and brother, Edward Carrigan Jr. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. We love you, Carl and will see you on the other side! A celebration of life will be held on April 25th, from 2pm to 2am at Scotty's Pub and Grub, 215 N. Meridian in Puyallup. All are welcome to come hoist a beer for Carl.
