Carl Benjamin Dover Mr. Dover, 78, of Charlotte, NC died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital. Carl was born in Chattanooga, TN August 30, 1933, son of the late J.T. and Vivian Manning Dover. Mr. Dover was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Carl was also a Mason and Shriner. He was the owner and operator of Dover Cylinder Head until he retired and his son took over the business. Survivors include his wife, Doris P. Dover; son, Carlton B. Dover and wife Susan; daughter, Angela Montville, sister, Donna Eubanks and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Candice, Tony, Brittany, Josh, Ashley and Amber; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Harley, Octavia, Ryan, Payton and Hannah; Step-daughters, Tiffany Hall and Karen Pitts and husband, Trey. A service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, December 26, 2011, in the Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Charity of the Donor?s Choice.
