Will Cook

Carl and I met in Lewiston, Idaho in the late 70''s and worked together and became close friends. I will miss him. At one time we had a deep spiritual awareness between us and I will always feel his presents. We were separated when he chose to move from Clarkston, WA and have not seen each other since. I am so sorry for the family's loss. I hope he found what he was looking for in Oregon. His Friend forever, Will Cook Clarkston, WA

Carl and I met in 1974. He came to my house to build a round table top. Carl decided that was to tough and convinced me that I wanted an octagon top. We became friends, I worked for him for awhile and learned so much, from that super bright guy about construction, books, learning and life. Wow, from the "poor peoples spaghetti party" to long discussions on every subject while drinking lots of coffee, to running our vehicles to their outer limits, we were friends. I will always be a better person because of him. A bright shining star in my galaxy.

Diana Bingham Walker

My Dad - Ron Bingham worked with Carl's Dad at the Sugar Factory in Nampa. I dated Carl off and on for about 2 years in the 1964-65 time frame. I called him once when he was living in Clarkston and I was driving through to Moscow a year of so after my first husband died. I was going to try to find him onlinethis evening and call just to say hello when the obituary popped up. Please accept my sincere sympathies. He was my first "love". He would take me out either on his motorcycle or in his Granddad's New Yorker. We actually met at a Sugar factory summer picnic. So many fond memories are flooding my head and heart right now. Her had an engaging smile and I can still hear the timbre of his voice. I feel so bad that I waited so long to find him and say hello again.
