It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of Carl Edwin Kuck, who left us on August 25th, 2024 at the age of 72. Carl held many titles in his life, from Army Paratrooper receiving a national defense service medal during his time served, avid bowler receiving a ring for a perfect game, fly fishing enthusiast, but most significantly he was a beloved father, grandpa, brother, friend and confidant. “There is only one happiness in this life: to love and to be loved”.
Carl was a devoted father to his son Matthew Kuck and daughter Melissa Burns. Grandpa to Kaelee Emke and Skylar Burns. Brother to Christina Nelson, Kurt Kuck and uncle to their children. In addition to his family, Carl made so many special connections throughout his life from his adored neighbors and Matt’s lifelong friends as they even referenced him as “Pops”.
“The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief. But the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with the pain of never risking love”.
Please join us in celebrating Carl’s life on September 9th at Northern Colorado Crematory, 700 8th Street, Greeley, Co 80631, from 1-3pm.
