Carl Stroud, 83, of Ocala passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Estelle's Hospice House in Ocala. Carl Stroud was a native of Clay County, North Carolina and has lived in this area for several years. He was a retired truck driver. In his free time he enjoyed gardening and RC airplanes. He is survived by his wife, Opal and many, many loving friends. He is preceded in death by their daughter, Robin. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 1130am at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County, Estelle’s Hospice House, PO Box 4860 Ocala, Fl 34480. Online condolences may be left at www.hiers-baxley.net
