Carl Norman Turner

November 13th, 1940 - March 13th, 2024

Carl Norman Turner at 83 years old joined his wife, Jean Elvira Walker Turner, in the eternal realm. He died in Mountain Home, ID on Mar 13, 2024. He was born to Clifford Norman Turner (Father) and Veda Creager Turner (Mother) in Pocatello, ID November 13, 1940, the first of (5) five. He joined the U.S. Army in 1960. He retired as an E-8 Master Sargent in 1982. Carl married the love of his life September 27, 1961, shortly after Jean graduated from Highschool. Due to his military career Carl and Jean were able to see most of the continental US and Alaska. Carl cared for his family and always made sure they had a vehicle or a means of transportation whenever he could. He loved to teach and help people, asking only that the person he helped be kind and help someone else down the road. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Jean E. (Walker) Turner, survived by his 4 children, Karla J Hamilton, Karen M. Turner, Kennith E. Turner (Rayna), Norman C Turner (Kendra) 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, Andria, Noah, 2 sisters Rena Pearson2 and Lynda Hosford, 2 brothers Larry and Dennis Turner. Carl’s viewing will be held in the Rost Funeral Home, 500 N 18th East in Mountain Home, Idaho from 6:00 pm-8:00pm. His funeral will be at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd., Boise ID 83714 at 10:00 am
