Carla Evelyn Nickels, age 56, of Las Vegas passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 at her home in Las Vegas. Carla was born January 8, 1954 in Monterey Park CA. She is the daughter of the late Carl and the late Genevieve (Club) Bearden. Carla was a food handler for the Clark County School District for 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Glen Nickels; son, Carl Glen Nickels of Las Vegas, NV; Sister Eunice (OJ) Mosley of Las Vegas, NV; brother Robert (Terri) Bearden of San Demos CA; and stepchildren Veronica Garison of Denver CO and Franklin J Nickels of Omaha NB. Donations in Carla's memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A memorial service will be held at 4PM on Friday, Dec.3 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services.
