SEED, Carla Irene (Burud, Dye, Van Houghton) Carla passed away peacefully on 9/3/11 of natural causes and Alzheimer's Disease. She was 89 years old. Carla was born in Ulen, MN on 1/26/22. Her past work experiences were: PTA President for Hawthorn Elementary School in San Luis Obispo, a medical secretary for S.L.O. County Health Dept., a photographer for National School Pictures in Fresno, CA, San Francisco Social Services and Heidi's Hallmark on the mesa for 5 years. Carla was a member of the Santa Barbara Women's Club and the Modern Mother's Club. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William Seed; her daughter, Dee Johnson; Kari Peoples and Erin Kopeny, grand daughters; Tim, Rieley, Jake, Matthew, Megan & McKenna, great-grandchildren. Carla loved writing poetry, working with wood and signing with the Sweet Adelines in Fresno, CA. She'll be remembered as a cheerful lady with a happy smile. A gathering will be in the future for family only. Our thanks goes out to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care.
