Carlos G. Flores, 61, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on February 2, 2013 in Salinas. He was born on April 20, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas. He previously worked as a farmer in the agriculture industry for over 15 years. Carlos loved to dance to James Brown, do yard work and especially spend time with his family. Carlos would often take walks to the corner store and collect money for his great-nephew, Jerry. Carlos will always remain in the hearts and prayers of his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Adela Flores of Madera and Patsy Flores of Fresno sisters, Mary (Victor) Martinez of Salinas Frances Martinez and Juanita Flores both of Desert Hot Springs Lupe (Joe) Ramirez of Salinas brothers, Frank (Mary Lou) Flores of Prescott, AZ Juan (Connie) Flores and Tony Flores all of Salinas along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Faustina Flores and his brother, Louie Flores. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 1-9pm with an Evening Prayer Service at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Services will commence on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 10am at the mortuary, then proceed to the Castroville District Cemetery for a graveside committal and burial, located at 8442 Moss Landing Rd. Moss Landing, CA 95039.
